PhotoNET is an international network of photogrammetry laboratories dedicated to sharing knowledge, connecting research teams, and fostering collaboration across institutions and disciplines. It offers a minimal and open digital infrastructure designed to support the collective advancement of photogrammetric practice, especially in fields such as heritage conservation, architecture, archaeology, and civil engineering.
The platform is structured around four core components:
- A global map of laboratories, showcasing teams and their lines of work.
- A repository of finalized resources (Knowledge), including publications, tools, and datasets.
- A co-working space for sharing projects in progress, open questions, or collaboration proposals.
- A forum for discussion, technical exchange, and community support.
By interconnecting professionals, institutions, and methodologies, PhotoNET strengthens the international photogrammetry community, promoting transparency, cooperation, and shared standards.
The initiative is led by the Laboratory of Architectural Photogrammetry (LFA) at the University of Valladolid (Spain).

Knowledge exchange
A space for sharing practical knowledge on photogrammetry — methods, tools, technical solutions, and applied experiences.
This section gathers finalized resources contributed by laboratories and researchers around the world.

Co-working and Research
A space to share ongoing research, early-stage ideas, or potential collaborations in photogrammetry.
Use this section to present work in progress, raise open questions, or invite others to join your research efforts — before the results are finalized.

Forum
A collaborative space for discussing photogrammetry methods, data processing workflows, and related spatial technologies.
