PhotoNET Quick Start Guide
Welcome to PhotoNET! This guide will help you get started with our platform for photogrammetry laboratories worldwide.
Who Can Join PhotoNET?
PhotoNET is designed exclusively for research laboratories working in photogrammetry, academic institutions with photogrammetry programs, university research teams in related fields, and institutional groups – not individual professionals.
Getting Started
Register Your Laboratory
Click “Register” in the top menu, accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, then fill out the registration form with your laboratory name and acronym, institution and location details, principal investigator and team members, brief description of your research lines, geographic coordinates for map placement, and contact information and website.
Click “Register” to submit. You’ll receive a welcome email with your login credentials, and your laboratory will automatically appear on the world map.
Explore the Platform
Once registered, you can access all PhotoNET features:
- Global Map of Laboratories – Browse photogrammetry labs worldwide, click on markers to view detailed lab information, and contact other laboratories directly.
- Knowledge Repository – Search published resources by category or keyword, filter by author, date, or research area, and access publications, tools, and datasets.
- Co-working Space – View ongoing research projects, share your work-in-progress, find collaboration opportunities, and connect with labs working on similar topics.
- Forum – Join discussions on technical topics, ask questions and share expertise, and exchange methodologies and best practices.
